How we work
Your usual advisors fall short making big decisions
Not all business decisions are the same.
Some are rare, expensive to get wrong, and you may have never made one exactly like it. There is no practice run. Most leaders meet the moment one of two ways, and neither was built for it.
- The executives you already have are shaped by history, roles, incentives, and what feels safe to say to the person in charge. It rarely holds anyone who has actually lived your exact decision and its consequences.
- Consulting ramps for months and hands you analysis, not the judgment of operators, founders, and executives who have already made the call you face and paid for getting it right or wrong.
- A single trusted advisor, however smart, is one vantage point, not a room of people who have sat where you are sitting now.
Ammentic exists for that gap: the lived experience of people who have made the decision, in front of you, brought into the room at the one moment it matters, before you commit.
A note on our suitability
Ammentic is built for the high-consequence, hard-to-reverse decision, where the cost of being wrong shows up long after the moment, and the price of testing it first is small next to the price of getting it wrong.
If a decision can be undone cheaply, you don’t need us.
Our three-stage approach
1. The Read
Ammara works in confidence with the people closest to the decision and surfaces the assumptions, tensions, incentives, and blind spots underneath it. The Pressure Test is only as sharp as what The Read brings to it.
2. The Pressure Test
Three to five operators, executives, and investors chosen for this specific decision, who have made the call and lived the result.
In one session that Ammara designs and facilitates, they challenge the assumptions, surface what the room cannot see, and test the direction before you commit. Your identity is never disclosed to them.
3. The Action Brief
Not a thick report, and not a thin blurb. A sharp, written brief built to act on. It lays out what is actually driving the decision at its root, the assumptions that were challenged and why they matter, the risks and blind spots to watch, and a clear verdict with its conditions and the sequenced next steps the room would back.
You carry it straight into the decision and act on it from day one.
A note on outcomes
We sharpen the decision. You own the call and the outcome. The verdict comes with its reasoning and conditions, never as a guarantee. That honesty is why leaders trust the room.
